THIS is What a REAL Vice President Sounds Like

Is a vice-president chosen on what he sounds like or what he does? Actions speak louder than words. I see from Biden's tax returns that he is giving less than $1000 to charitable contributions. That is poor for a man who makes over $400,000.

Joe Biden has the lowest net worth of any Senator--#100 out of 100, just for emphasis. He has done more to help the nation's poor than the next 10 random conservative Republicans in the Senate combined.

I love Biden's new idea. To be more patriotic one must pay more in taxes. This would he the US get out of our economic trouble. This doesn't make sense to me to tax all Americans more. Joseph what do you think? Please don't interpret Biden, but what do you think of taxing more to end the economic troubles.

Obama and Biden maintain that the income tax on the highest category of taxpayers should be returned to where it was in 2001, before W began giving away the store. There will be NO TAX INCREASE for people making less than $250k.

BTW, in World War II, people not only accepted high taxes, but they also voluntarily bought the equivalent, in today's terms, of $700 BILLION in government war bonds. But then again, those people knew we were in a war, and they considered it their patriotic duty.

So do you believe that it is patriotic to pay more taxes? If I can interpret you, it would be patriotic to bring back "recession" bonds. This would help the government in a great time of need.

Our country is now more than $10,000,000,000,000 in debt. My kids and my grandchildren are on the hook for it. A lot of it is owed to China. And the war in Iraq isn't even calculated into that figure.

Pay it now. Or pay it later, that's all I'm sayin'.

Thank you for finally standing on two feet and giving an answer. You would make a good politician. Unless you have some dirt in your background. Thank you for the interesting blog.
