In Memory of Paul Newman
A great actor, a great man, a great activist who devoted himself to progressive causes and the well-being of other humans generally. Paul will always have a place in my memory, and he will always be remembered as one of the artistic giants of his time. He will definitely be missed. (You can find a good summary of his life here.)

For once I agree with you 100%. What is your favorite Paul Newman movie? Mine is Butch Cassidy and the Sun dance Kid.
There are several, so it's hard to say. Cool Hand Luke, obviously, is on the list. But I will always remember him in The Sting and Nobody's Fool as well. A truly brilliant artist.
Love him in "The Sting." What a gigantic talent - he will definitely be missed.
