This is an Example of Why I've Been Ranting Lately

The USS Bataan is sitting in the Gulf of Mexico with food, doctors, and fresh water, and no one has ordered it to help in New Orleans. It's just sitting there as people are dying for lack of aid because no one in Washington has had the presence of mind to actually mobilize it for rescue work.
