I don't think so. Now the Republicans are pushing the damned lie that the Democrats want to make illegal immigration a felony when in fact IT IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE. The Republicans were pushing through such a law themselves, and the Democrats wanted to modify the bill's harsh provisions. The Republican claim is pure out and out bullshit.
