This Column Says What Needs to Be Said

Tina Brown hits the nail on the head in this devastating dissection of His Fraudulency George II's screw-up in regard to New Orleans. Her analysis is exactly correct: Bush is a total incompetent in everything except self-preservation.

New Yorkers, who voted overwhelmingly to get rid of Bush last November, already knew this, and something else even worse: Bush doesn't give a damn about what happens to anyone else.

As I've said a hundred times, so I will say again: Bush is not only the worst president in American history, he is the worst man who has ever been president. He's as close to an outright sociopath as we've ever had in office.

And that terrifies the hell out of me.

I absolutely agree with both you and Tina Brown. George Bush is a mess! If we don't get a better president next time...I don't know what I'm going to do. We are supposed to be the smartest and richest country in the world and yet we continue to let air heads like George Bush (and his daddy) in the White House. Something is extremely wrong with that! Anybody can see now (even if they couldn't before) that George Bush don't give a damn about America which is why he can afford to vacation every month and talk about these devastating situations with that devilish grin on his face (sort of like his mom had the other day when speaking about the plight of the poor people in New Orleans). I am so disgusted right now.

I am convinced that Bush got into office in 2000 as the result of a Republican engineered coup. And I'm not completely convinced that he was legitimately "re-elected" in 2004.

The situation is, indeed, critical.
