My God, I Hope This Isn't True
But if it is, the people who ordered it are war criminals.
I'm looking at you, Cheney.

This is a crime if it is true. I don't want to see this crime in our public courts it should be in the military courts. Speaking on another court case. What do you think about the Black Panthers in Philadelphia who were blocking a polling station and intimidating voters and now the charges against them are being dropped. Civil rights lawyer Bartle Bull said it was the most blatant form of voter intimidation he had ever seen.
2. The fact that the first 15-20 accounts of this on Google are all from the Right-Wing Noise Machine arouses my suspicions.
3. When conservatives, who have acted to suppress and intimidate voters more than any other group in American history, complain about things like this, it makes me want to pour sewage on them. There were 57,000 legally qualified African-American voters who were purged from Florida's voting rolls in 2000, just in time to prevent them from voting for Al Gore and saving us from the worst president in U.S. history. And the right-wingers have the G-D DAMNED NERVE to talk about "voter intimidation"?

1. First of all, read this from FindLaw. The govt. won an injunction against the Panthers and will act to prevent all such behavior in the future.

Having said this (above), I would have prosecuted the Panthers. But I don't know all the relevant legal considerations involved. Do you?
