Job Killer, American Dream Killer

You’ve seen him all over the place. He’s been on Saturday Night Live and Entertainment Tonight. He’s really quite a celebrity, one of the best known people in America. And he’s known for other things, too. Like owning eight (or is it ten?) houses, jetting around in his $12 million plane, wearing his $500 shoes, being worth $100 million…

and helping to kill American jobs.

It’s none other than the lobbyists’ best friend, John McCain!

In Ohio, one of McCain’s lobbyist friends (he’s got a LOT of them) helped arrange a buyout of Airborne Express by a German company. The lobbyist was paid almost $600,000 by the Germans. McCain pushed the deal hard in the Senate. Now it looks like 10,000, maybe THIRTY THOUSAND PEOPLE in Ohio will be out of work.

But the lobbyist who helped arrange it is doing just fine. He’s McCain’s campaign manager now. The details are here:
