Rightwing anti-science fanatic Tom Bethell continues to push his preposterous, scientifically idiotic, totally discredited arguments against evolution, global warming, and stem cell research. He's doing so with the help of big money from the radical right Heritage Foundation, which is pushing his book. Chris Mooney has had enough of this claptrap, and utterly demolishes it here.
Enough is enough. The conservatives are attempting to destroy the sciences as part of their effort to: A. Establish a de facto theocracy in the United States and B. Protect their corporate underwriters and sponsors from regulation. We've got to stop them from doing both--in the same of sanity and the future of our country.
