The Financial Times this morning reports that the Bush Administration is shifting away from a purely military approach to the war on terror (I'm sorry--War Against Violent Extremism [TM] as its now known) toward one where intelligence plays a key role (as John Kerry said it must during the campaign) and is asking France --yes, France--to help in the effort to reach out to moderate Islamic groups.
You tell these Bush people that they're doing something wrong and they attack you.
Then they start advocating the very thing they've attacked you for.
In. Freaking. Credible.
