Right-Wing Lobbyists and Corporations Funding the So-Called "Tea Parties"

Think Progress has the story here. These "citizen protests" are merely vehicles for the promotion of right-wing corporate agendas and have nothing to do with any genuine "outrage" at taxes. In fact, over NINETY PER CENT OF AMERICANS HAVE JUST HAD A TAX CUT. What in the hell is going on here? I'll tell you. It's manipulation of right-wing sore loser anger by those in the top 5% who will see their taxes go from 35% to the (obviously Marxist-socialist-Satanic-terrorist coddling) level of 39.5%. It's also the expression of right-wing hatred over the fact that the conservatives had their asses handed to them in 2006 and 2008.

To the Republican base, the situation is simple: No Democrat has the right to be president, even one who was freely and fairly elected. These cretins think that they have a God-given right to govern and push everyone else around. Add to the fact that the president is African-American and progressive, and their hatred goes into overdrive. These people are what I've called them before: The Timothy McVeigh Wing of the Republican Party. They are being egged on and organized by Fox "News" and other right-wing companies to try to damage a genuinely good and devoted man, Barack Obama, through the ugliest of lies and malicious attacks. These so-called "Tea Parties" are con jobs clear through, a cynical ploy by rich and powerful interests to keep control of our nation.

Too bad the people planning to go to them are too dense, delusional, and unbalanced to realize that they're simply being played for suckers.
