I saw how the system works when my stepfather died last year, Joe, and here's the conclusion it forced upon me: all the flag waving, all the empty "we're the greatest nation" patriotic nonsense is nothing but a stinking pile of festering horse shit so long as people in this country have no guaranteed, quality nationalized health care. It can be done, and the only reason it won't happen is because all the greedy fuckers who profit don't want it to happen.
