(The disgrace of that gesture was only overshadowed by the craven, mewling, Bush-worshiping behavior of the press as noted by Eric Alterman here. The Bush Suck-Up Festival that day was surely one of the low points in the history of the media.)
Over 4,000 of our best young men and women dead. Over 30,000 others injured, many of them horribly. At least 100,000 dead Iraqis, 2,000,000 more Iraqis in exile, and potentially trillions of dollars down the drain. Just so little Georgie could prance around and pretend he's a real by-God man.
