Breath of fresh air? I am getting more disappointed each day of President Obama's tenure in office. I am feeling sorry for my vote for him. After yesterday when he compared himself to Special Olympians on the Jay Leno Show angered me. So he said that he was sorry and now is inviting Special Olympians to the White House for a photo op. The more I watch him off of his telepromptor the more disappointed I become. Sorry for my vote America.
Anonymous, for an alleged Obama supporter you've done nothing but gripe, moan, and otherwise criticize. The Special Olympics joke was meant to be self-deprecatory. It was an off-hand remark, and the SO people don't seem terribly offended, so why are you? Spare me your indignation and focus it on a state governor who just turned down $160 million in education funds, including funds for special ed--Palin.
BTW, I watched the whole Leno interview. Obama was eloquent, thoughtful, intelligent, and overall tremendously effective. GW Bush would have fallen flat on his face in similar circumstances.
You know, you do nothing but regurgitate right-wing talking points. Pretty odd for an Obama voter.
