Vermont, currently the greenest of the green states on your map (and pretty green in other ways too), is talking about seceeding from the Union. We might move there, especially if they provide universal healthcare. (Right now we're looking at Canada. We have to fight or appeal every doctor bill on the insurance for which we pay over $14,000 a year. Our congressman got into the act on the last one and fixed it for us.) The hardcore rigid republicans wanted someone hardcore and rigid, and they got Cheney as head of the country with his hand up B42's ass so it looks like W is in charge. God save us!
